About Jodie Chock
Artist Jodie Chock graduated with her BFA in Painting from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa in 2013 and teaches Drawing and Painting at Kalāheo High School in Kailua, Oʻahu. She was recently selected for the juried show “Schaefer Portrait Challenge” and will be exhibiting one of her paintings at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center in 2022.Blurb: Lauaʻe Fairy is a whimsical exploration of my young daughter Jillienne, as she enjoys exploring her little garden outside of her bedroom window. This painting is a gift to her, meant to always remind her of the joys of her childhood in Hawaiʻi.
